Reviews:

Sheri Osden Nault is an artist of Métis and mixed European descent. Situated within personal and political contexts, their art practice and research are grounded in queer, feminist, and Indigenous world-views. They strive to elicit a sense of social and ecological responsibility and intimacy on a damaged planet, recently focusing on connections between bodies, sexuality, and nature. They received an MFA from York University in 2017 and their BFA from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2012. Recent exhibitions include Entangled Bodies at the Art Gallery of York University; art(i f)ACTS curated by Belinda Ho-Yan Kwan; Where the Weather Happens at the Niagara Artists Centre; A lost syllable for ‘I’ that does not mean separate at LEFT Contemporary; Li Salay at the Art Gallery of Alberta; I Will Survive at Alta Art Space and Galleri CC in Malmö, Sweden, and Fix Your Hearts or Die at the Art Gallery of Alberta. They were a member of the 2017 (postponed to 2018 due to flooding) cohort of the Intergenerational LGBT Artist Residency, on Toronto Island.

Other notable projects include producing work for the Alberta Printmakers’ Society and Calgary's Nuit Blanche in 2014; presenting on a panel at the Aboriginal Curatorial Collective’s 2014 Colloquium; and blogging for both the Canada Council for the Arts and the Mountain: Standard Time 7 performance art festival.
